Actually I took apart a late 50’s portable record player and salvaged the amp. The schemtics/build aren’t too terrible but it seems like no two are the same. For the particular one I picked up it has 2 x 50c5 power tubes and a 12AX7 preamp tube. So I guess I’m in the refurbishing stage. I’m about to order 10 capacitors and a 1,000 volt diode. Plus rewire so I can’t get a hot chassis anymore. It has a plug without a fat blade so one way was grounded chassis and the other was dangerous! :P
